Kelsey Lu
This is the offering that emerged from the impromptu shoot, transposing the intimate set of introspection that the contemporary cellist and performer Kelsey Lu guided us through during her performance in Berlin 2023: The Lucid, A Dream Portal to Awakening.
Annastasia
I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with the incredibly talented singer Annastacia, whose work I’ve admired for some time. We met on a crisp Berlin day, finding ourselves in the calm of a local park, ready to create something spontaneous.
Johanna Schroeder
I recently had the chance to collaborate with the talented creative director Johanna Schroeder in a unique photo exchange. We took turns photographing each other, capturing moments that reflect both our visions and personalities.
A Celebrational Portrait Series
Dedicated to the Room of Souls/Quarto das Almas, place where I hold the strongest visual memory.
The ethos behind my photography practice, in particular in this series, is to contemplate the “Encontros do acaso” or the encounters by chance that happened with people who I instantly felt in love with.
All images are accompanied by an inquiry about “what makes you who you are” - an elaboration about your inner intersections in the context of your lineage, journey, and daily lives - for many the drivers of their change-making vision. In a world that is structured and over-engaged in a single-axis view and eurocentric aesthetics, this project seeks to challenge biases and monolithic assumption-making. It supports and draws from the collective vision and understanding of pluriversalism.
