My photography practice, like design, is grounded in sensitivity to the pluriversality of visual language across diverse cultural contexts.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved taking photos. Photography helps me feel connected—to people, to memories, and to time. Growing up, my mother was always taking pictures, and that taught me how family photographs can “re-member” fragmented parts of one’s history and identity, offering a way to reclaim a restorative sense of memory.
In 2018, I began carrying a small film camera everywhere I went. I found both joy and frustration in taking photos simply for the process, not for perfection. Film photography taught me to slow down, to be present, and to embrace uncertainty—the mystery of not knowing how an image will turn out until it’s developed. That waiting and discovery helped me connect more deeply with the world around me.

When I received a medium-format camera from my partner, I began focusing on photographing people who have had a significant influence on me. Every picture begins with a real connection. I value collaboration, trust, and dialogue—creating images through shared experience rather than direction. I like to photograph people in spaces where they feel comfortable and truly themselves.
